A quick note about the MSM and polls
Please remember that the MSM has no other agenda but to INCREASE THEIR OWN RATINGS. It is ALWAYS going to be to THEIR ADVANTAGE to make the election appear neck and neck all the way up to November 4th. That's why their CAMPAIGN ALERTS are accompanied by dramatic music and exciting graphics, even when it's just a stump speech. That's why the pundits are out in force whenever anything of consequence happens on the campaign trail.

1. The MSM will "report" whatever the conglomerate corporations that own them want them to.
IMO multinational conglomerate corporations should not be allowed to own media companies, since the "profit maximization" imperative of The Corporation will cause that multinational conglomerate to use a media company it owns to distort the news in order to increase profits.

2. One of things M$M is still having a hard time cheating on is the selling price of their stock.....
Of course they are probably plodding a work-around for that too

4. And is a good example of how dangerous the rule that corporations are responsible only...
...for maximizing the profits of it's shareholders is, and why the corporate system must be destroyed and replaced by a conception and business centered around the public good.

8. LOL. I want to learn Icelandic but it's supposed to be super-hard.
I'm decided to try to learn Norwegian instead (my ancestors cam from SW Norway), the mainland Scandinavian languages paralleled English in losing a lot of the old system complicated Indo-European suffixes and replacing them with word order and "grammar words".

6. They don't count the vote flipping being reported
And they don't report the vote flipping being reported in the non-MSM.
Computers are registering McCain when the Obama area of the screen was being touched.

I hope the 1st 100 days includes an executive order for 100% paper, mailed out ballots.
The USPS could handle it all and taxes could create jobs not corporate criminal profits.

7. I don't think the choice of what they report..
on the tv has anything to do with ratings. Otherwise we would have Keith and Rachel 24/7. I expect to see Reverend Wright..not because the McCain Campaign brings it up but because the media does. I expect to see anything that the McCain Campaign decides to got after Obama with to be reported every hour of every day. The amazing thing for me is that I don't watch, but I feel like I don't miss a minute.

9. Yep, GE doesn't care if NBC loses money as long as the maximize profit elsewhere.
Like talking up a war and then getting fat defense contracts.
