1. Oh, fuck me to tears
A flawless campaign totally ruined by a gaffe of truly epic proportions.

We. Are. Screwn.

Thanks a lot, Barack. Is it too late to run John Edwards? He just screwed around on his wife ... Obama is just WRONG on Batman. Jeeze.

7. Clearly, Obama is thinking of the Robin from the 1960s series...
the image that still predominates to non-comic book nerds.

However, that Robin was a PAL to BILL AYERS! OMG!!!

13. That's it, we need one more debate on pop culture issues
One part comics, one part Star Wars, one part Lord of the Rings.

If it's in print I'd like to get it. I collect political/propaganda comics.

17. Bet Rachel brings this up.
She's said things on a couple occasions that made me think she was a comic geek.

I didn't remember him becoming Nightwing, but I did remember hearing he and Batman had a falling out. I can't believe I just typed that. Course I'm not much of a comic geek, but a lot my friends are.

But hell, if I knew about the Batman/Robin rift, you'd sure think Obama would. My whole worldview is shaken. I wonder if Nader reads Transmetropolitan...
