I don't get it. There is no way I could live with a Republican.

Agreeably disagreeing on politics at home --
Political disputes should be civil, not a civil war
This presidential election has turned into a season of heated arguments, snide innuendos and outright insults - and the candidates aren't the only ones taking part. In many homes discussions around the family dinner table can turn just as ugly, especially if partners disagree.

Lauralea and Jay Quinn, both 36, have been married nine years. The Northport couple agree on a lot of things, like how they're raising their three daughters, ages 1, 6 and 8. But they don't agree on politics. Lauralea is a Democrat, and Jay votes Republican. They try not to let those differences affect their home life.
