We need to make some plans and have some organization |
|
around here. While I personally feel pretty confident that there are enough votes for Obama to over come vote tampering, that doesn't mean it is so. If for example we feel that the election has been stolen, there is talk of going to DC..however not all of us can get on a plane in 24-48 hours. I feel we need to have plans in place for the next morning at 8AM in each time zone for something effective. Something that will stop business as usual until this mess is straightened out. I think we need a call to action for a non-violent protest, much in the way MoveOn has called for vigils at certain times.
What are your suggestions?

1. There are already going to be several hundred thousand Obama supporters |
|
gathering in Grant Park, Chicago on Tuesday November 4th for the Obama celebration. If they steal this election, these people in Grant Park will not go away quietly into the night.
That's where I'm planning to be.

2. Why would *they* steal an election from Obama? |
|
His win will pacify over half the population instantaneously without a single policy change. That is priceless for the rich who will still be rich and still be getting richer under any American administration.

4. The tampering is widespread |

and some will be ferreted out and some will not. I think that there has to be something really big done about this. I personally am not happy with a single voter loosing their voice. Not one. This right belongs to the elderly, the student, the worker, the unemployed, every single person. I keep thinking that there must be a way for everyone who votes or has voted Obama/Biden to have their names submitted somewhere. Maybe at some legal offices. I just don't know but I think every single one needs to be counted. I wish I could think of something that would hold legally. I think it too important to just let it go at any level. Too many flipped, missing, lost ballots. Too too many.
