OMG The Check Out Girls Response today....2 storys

My wife and I stopped at the local grocery store to get a few items till pay day. As we were going throught the line my wife left me to go powder her nose(LOL) and left me there to pay...Anyhow I asked the clerk how her day was going...fine she said....I then said 8 days till the election.....her RESPONSE......I DON"T CARE....I DON'T VOTE....IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO WE ELECT....she said this all in a rude tone.....My response.....Would you care to tell that to the family's of 4400 soldiers who have died in Iraq fighting an illegal and misdirected war????....she said it would not have mattered....I just said to her WRONG Al Gore would have stayed the course if 9/11 would have happened on his watch and kept looking for Osama Bin Laden instead of invading Iraq........I hope you change your mind in the next week got my receipt and left.


On another note today I had a shopper at another store notice my Obama/Biden button in which HE IMITATED LIKE HE WAS VOMITING...I said sir are you sick...ya your button did it to me he said...well at least my candidate speaks of substance and not SMEARS...he said your candidate spent all weekend talking about Sarahs clothes.....I said no it was the MEDIA that spent the weekend talking about it Obama stayed focus and then Sarah and Liz had to keep it in the news by talking about it yesterday in Florida....he said she borrowed them....I said regardless she like McCain used bad judgment.....He said how!!!!....I said Sarah could have said NO to wearing them if indeed she is a Hockey Mom and a Joe Sixpack kida women......then said have a nice day and left to him saying but but come back I want to talk to you...I said WASTE OF TIME...kept walking

1. Wow, who's teaching them the "It doesn't matter" line.

That and "I don't care" is what I keep hearing from disgusted repugs. One guy I know always repeats the talking points, like he invented them: "America is full of whiners, mental recession, I'm pro-America, Obama will ruin country"

but if they're willing to continue talking(and it remains polite) please keep the conversation going! Half the battle we face is changing the way this nation deals with elections-most repugs I know run away after a couple of reasoned pointsO8)
