A jury of his peers found him GUILTY of 7 Felonies. At this moment and forever after his is a 'convicted felon'. Were he you or I he would be behind bars at this very moment and would not come out until he was prepared for burial.

A good discussion...the ADN has been at the forefront of the reporting of Stevens and the other scandals.
The obvious solution to this dilemma is for Mark Begich to kick ass next Tuesday.
This conviction reminds me of the indictment of the Iran-Contra conspirators right before the '92 election that, IMHO, put the final dagger in Poppy's campaign. So how do you defend a convicted felon? Let's see how the barracuda tap dances with this one. Yet another important news cycle sucked away from Camp Gramps.
