Search the database below to see who has contributed money to the campaigns supporting and opposing California's Proposition 8, which would ban same-sex marriage.

I just found out that my landlord has donated $449 to support Prop. 8. As a gay man, I wonder whether this might make me subject to housing discrimination. I also wonder whether I should move and let her know why. (She also supported Romney in the primaries, it turns out.)

Regardless of whether Prop. 8 passes or fails, I will not feel like forgiving and forgetting. Never again do I want to do anything to help, support, or even associate with the scumbags who want to deny me my equality. This battle has opened up deep rifts -- rifts that cannot be healed.

Imagine all that money going toward a good cause like helping the needy. I consider none of those people to be Christian.

I wish they'd put one up with the names of all the people who signed the petitions. I think a lot of people who oppose it would find out their names are on there.
