I'd guess, if you factor out the moron dittoheads who don't really know what they believe, they just regurgitate whatever rush et al spew at them, that it's not more than 1 or 2 percent who really believe it.

I'd guess about 10% of repukes know for a certainty it doesn't work, but they don't care because it enriches them personally.

About 2% are ideologue zealots--the only true believers.

All the rest are just ignorant kool-aid-drinking cult members. Some of them are willing to suspend disbelief and go along with repuke insanity because other repuke policies give cover to their racism, religious insanity, intolerance...

and the rabid bigots, racists, religious zealots who really really believe that the rich deserve tax cuts because they worked hard for their riches and they shouldn't be taxed because of their hard work.Mention that most of those they are talking about inherited their wealth or had some other advantage that others don't have and your just jealous of their wealth.

Forget trying to reason with them, they think their taxes go down with the tax cuts besides they want those tax cuts when their ship comes in, after all Reagan promised them a golden trickle down, they don't get that the only thing that trickles down is brown.
