About Obama's 30 minute infomercial last night..... |
|
Is it me or did anyone else become emotionally moved by that thing last night?
I was watching with my wife, son and his fiance and there were a couple of times when, I'm embarrassed to admit, I started to tear up.
As I was watching this man, I was thinking of just how much huge potential for doing good there was if there is to be an Obama Presidency. It was as EJ Dionne described on Keith Olbermann about the opening scene - a flowing field of wheat reminding one of the movie "Field Of Dreams" - "if you vote for it, it will come"....
There is soo much work to be done to save our country from the destructive nature of the last 28 years of right-wing economics. It's going to take this bright, young, inspirational person to help lead us back to the American dream....

2. I cried.. called my mom after it was over.. and she said... oh my God.. that was sooo good. |
|
AND I wanted more.. it was only 1/2 hr, and it didn't seem like it was that long. Anyone who watched was impressed.

I am so terribly happy to at last have a candidate we can be so proud of, and who is finally running a good campaign. I dumped a ton of cash and time into Gore, and Kerry and felt that screwed when both mismanaged those resources.
Obama is wonderful, and I hope he is our next president!
