How bad is it when Donald Trump is calling * the worst president ever?

1. Trump is a master of timing.
He knows when to get off the sinking ship and on to the bandwagon! I'm surprised he didn't say "you're fired!"

2. I don't think.
... your characterization of Trump as a "right wing nut job" is remotely correct. Care to back that up?

4. Maybe not a nut-job, but he is a right-winger
I've heard him several times as a guest on conservative nutjob radio. He comes across as being pretty conservative.

9. Well I hope..
... you watch that video of the interview with Leslie. Because if that's a right wing nut job, I'm Donald Trump.

3. Trump's not a right-wing nut job.
He's freaky. He's a cad. He's way past his expiration date in the public eye, as far as I'm concerned, but he's not a right-wing nut job.

6. Remember...Trump Thought Of Running 3rd Party
He's been critical of the booooosh cabal for a while now. His big thing were the defecits and borrowing that he knows will eventually mean he'll be paying either highter taxes down the road or watch his investments fade as the dollar heads into obscurity.

I'd classify Trump as a "Libertarian". His big issue is money, money, money...and anyone with a lick of financial reality knows how destructive this regime's financial policies are...and how we're going to be paying for it down the road.

7. Interesting... he apparently donates mostly to Dems...
Edited on Sat Mar-17-07 08:49 AM by WePurrsevere
although not exclusively. The list of who and how much he's donated to is interesting... I wonder how he choses which ones though since I'm seeing Liberals like Ted Kennedy and Conservatives like Allen. Probably $$ based but...

From Newsmeat http://www.newsmeat.com/billionaire_political_donations/Donald_Trump.php
$197,433* Republican
$303,000* Democrat
$115,050* special interest
total: $615,483
* includes soft-money donations

Go figure... either way I've always thought he was a pompass jerk much like Giuliani. ::blech::

8. if the 'donald' expresses this sentiment
then it says it's safe, and bush is gonna do a reagan fade out (unless mr pig pops him like a boil on their arse, or stage peewee's sudden comedown with some 'orrible disease, or whatever them crafty devils come up with)
mr pig got what the pig wanted: bush is now redundant, and watch for dennis miller to start dissing the ponk...

10. Trump is a businessman, first and foremost. Bush is bad for business.
End of story.

13. he may be a nutjob, but he's a more or less Dem nutjob...
Edited on Sat Mar-17-07 12:34 PM by blitzen
He is a registered Democrat, and had a strong Dem upbringing...Politically, he's scattered-brained, but definitely leans toward our side.

Here's a bit from an old Blitzer-Trump interview (March 2004):

BLITZER: Do you identify more as a Democrat or Republican? TRUMP: Well, you'd be shocked if I said that in many cases I probably identify more as Democrat. And I think you'd probably be shocked...

BLITZER: On social issues?

TRUMP: You know, it's interesting, I've been now around long -- you know, I think of myself as a young guy, but I'm not so young anymore. And I've been around for a long time. And it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans.

Now, it shouldn't be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats...

BLITZER: Well, it certainly did well under Clinton. But I wouldn't suggest it was so great under Jimmy Carter.

TRUMP: That's true. That's true.

BLITZER: If you remember, the interest rates...

TRUMP: No, I know. I know. Jimmy Carter was not in the same thing.

But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we've had some pretty bad disaster under the Republicans.

BLITZER: You want...

TRUMP: Including a thing called the Depression.
