1. i think a big piece of the fox rating is those that have been trained to leave fox on
24/7.

i know people and many places that just leave the shit on, regardless of the host.

I've been in too many
businesses and had to sit through Fox News while in their waiting rooms....even hospitals, because they just leave the garbage on.

2. She's great

and smart as a whip, as us old people around here would say
It used to be KO then turn the tv off cause the last thing I want to watch or listen to is some blowhard sucking up all the air in the room. She like Keith will ask her guest a question and then lets them answer it, a simple format that works for me.

4. I agree, she is smart a whip, and one should not mess with
the simple format thing.

3. I'm not being critical...
KO's and RM's shows tend to run the same stories, cover the same ground and no new info.

what I would like to see is a KO/RM show - 2hrs, giving more time to cover the stories without repeating the same stuff

7. Great idea, it would allow much more depth and a wider
coverage of events.

As great as they both are, It probably never happen. I'm glad they are on our side but there are ego's involved here. I can't believe she beat KO. That was quick.

Whoever is ahead for the two of them, I still consider it the best TV on TV. (Even though I have to watch MSNBC on the computer, www.channelsurfing.net) Mighty uncomfortable to spend 2 hours on this desk chair. Big project to move a comfortable chair close to the computer.

PS, How can I keep the program from timing out every 10 minutes or so. If I move the mouse, its back but what a pain. Is that a function of Hibernate? Just change the time?

and/or your screen saver timing

change both for longer than an hour

5. Do they count bars and airports in the Fox ratings - aren't they the favorites
for bars?

6. That was the night of the Obama interview. Her numbers should have been better.
Too bad lots of comcast homes don't get MSNBC. Her ratings would have been better.

9. Congratulations to Rachel!!!!
She's excellent. Rachel won me over recently in one show alone.

And it looks like Greta has some competition from Ms. Maddow. :-)

11. It's better than that, though
In the most important demographic, the 25-54 group advertisers look at, she beat Olbermann. Who beat O'Reilly. Who beat Hannity. So in the REAL important number, she was the tops in cable news.
