St Petersburg, Florida checkin in, early voting today at the |
|
courthouse on 1st Ave. N was a blowout for Obama. We, me and my wife, were in line for 4 hours before we got to cast our ballot. Many thanx to the Obama grassroots organization and MoveOn.org for providing water and information as the line moved. When we left at 3:15 the line was still about two blocks long and people were voting for change.
Peace

1. Why does Pinellas only provide 3 EV locations? WTF! |
|
Glad to hear that Obama and MoveOn were there with water etc. Were there any blue hats (attorneys)?

4. Perhaps it is because Jeb made a rule that only libraries, city halls |
|
and county election offices could be places for early voting. No early voting at churches or community halls etc. And mandatory only 8 hours per day on weekdays. How's that for perpetuating the suppress-the-vote strategy of the GOP?
Fortunately, Crist (god bless his pointed little republican heart) at least opened up on the hours.

decided that she would not open 8 early voting sites. Guess which party she belongs to:rofl: Her Democratic opponent was there, but for some unknown reason, she couldn't make it.
Not that anyone from the Democratic Party / the Obama Campaign / or MoveOn.org mentioned these facts to anyone.:applause:
yes there were "bluehats" there. The only thing they had to deal with that I know of was some woman trying to tell people they needed to show a voter i.d. card along with a driver licence prior to voting. That stopped pretty quick.
Man, it was a great feeling to see the number of people, of all stripes, that want to change the direction of our country. Peace to all.:yourock:

3. Obama grassroots organization and MoveOn have organized a "stay in line" |
|
Campaign, which is the next step in the 'get out the vote' and this is an organized plan of this election.
Thanks for the report.
