Tonight in Barack Obama's acceptance speech we witnessed history. After eight trying years we have awoken from a nightmare. The American people and Barack Obama have delivered us into a new day of hope and optimism. Today I am proud once again to be an American. Today I have hope for our future, for our childrens future. Today we have shaped the landscape for generations to follow.

A man of courage, ability, and vision has ascended to the Presidency of the greatest nation on earth. He will lead this nation out of the darkness and into the light of a new era of hope and opportunity. For that we should take thanks, and offer our support. Rejoice, and weep together for the return of our great Democracy, for We The People are once more joined in our shared and just purpose. Live, love, and leave a legacy worthy of our children and nation.
