CHICAGO - Oprah Winfrey says she doesn't know the man whose shoulder she sobbed on during Barack Obama's election night rally, but she's grateful.

Winfrey cried during Tuesday's celebration in Chicago's Grant Park after Obama defeated John McCain for the presidency.

On Wednesday's live episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Winfrey said friends called to asked who the man in the photo was. But the talk show host says she doesn't know him.

Winfrey thanked the guy she called "Mr. Man" for letting her cry on his shoulder.

And the second most popular talk show on daytime TV: Probably Ellen. Certainly hasn't hurt her any.

Its not "weird" that her and Stedman never married. She doesn't want to. Where's the problem with that? Neither have Tim Robbins & Susan Sarandon or Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell. Some people decide that marriage is not for them, the same way some people decide that having children is not for them.

Geez.

And what I assumed was - that Oprah's feet were killing her (she complains about them alot on her show) and likes to take her shoes off. I suspect Stedman was too tall for her to lean on - and this guy was just right.
