Albertogate--What legal charges can come from this? |

Did Alberto and Rove obstruct justice if they can be proven to remove AGs to prevent justice being carried out in active cases? Is this a RICO event? Or will we just end up with a lot of bloviating in front of cameras and on the floor of the Senate?

to be applied in this case. It's a very fine line between dismissing an employee without cause and actually obstructing an ongoing investigation. Too many people will think it's the former.
Meanwhile, this is a perfect opportunity for Congress to teach the imperial GOP an object lesson: investigators from their own party will always be kinder to them than a Congress with a majority from the opposition party.
That's the best we can expect out of this one. There is no way they'll ever learn the difference between right and wrong.
