You are coherent, eloquent and intelligent. Just when we had gotten used to bonehead in the white house who can barely complete a sentence you come along. What next? Will people start reading now? Will Americans begin to realize that having lived abroad is not anti American but is essential to our understanding of the world? What will happen to all our carefully preconceived notions about those nasty Arabs with towels on their heads? Will we perhaps begin to realize that they too, with all their faults, are human as well? Will we start learning history? And for goodness sakes, next thing you know geography is on the horizon. Will the average brain dead person finally listen to Obama, not understand a word he is saying (too complex more than one idea at a time) and actually do research to try and understand? And what will happen to our beloved messiahs; the Limbaughs, Hannity and Reillys? Who will tell us what to think now? Who to hate? Will tolerance raise its ugly head? And woe is us; who will tell us to buy an american made car because jesus said so?
We are sinking in the mire my friends and unless we read W's memoirs (oh i forgot which no one wants to publish) we shall be cast back into humanity and might even be looked upon as perhaps having a trace of homo sapiens left.
And just when Bush, with his very ape like facial structure had convinced me evolution was a hoax, now ill have to start thinking again.
