He made a stupid snark about her in his presser today. It was painfully obvious in watching that he regretted saying it before it even fully left his lips.

Maddow just reported that he called her to say he was sorry.

In a thread earlier I said it was a stupid joke and not a smart move, and I got called a freeper. I guess since he apologized he must have thought it wasn't so great.

But thought it was out of line at the time, but I had a guilty pleasure in it because
it was an economic forum and press conference and Reagan started this whole mess,
anyway he defused the situation and did the right thing.
