in Washington state that recently received an outstanding number one patient care award and has invited President Obama for a visit asked me to take the pictures for their new recruitment brochure. I've done around 250 so far but here are 33 of the ones I like so far. Thoughts. ideas? http://www.palousephoto.net/gallery/6523521_h7Bmp#414626013_EX5ha

Your artistry is plain to see...
And the hospital looks really good. I used to be a critical care RN, and I recognize good layout when I see it. This place has it.
Very clean, very sleek, really lovely.
I esp. like the way they've made an effort to bring in the outdoors...
Thank you for sharing these!

I mostly do landscape and sports photography. This was my first architectural gig. In one of the photos, the ICU I tried to show movement and and compassion. All of the people are blurred except the Dr and patient. They are really working hard for an Obama visit.

Picture #2 is my favorite night shot.
Also, I love the ones with the clouds, like #16.

most of the time when I submit shots I don't get a lot of feedback. I debated soliciting feedback here but I know everyone is pretty honest. I can shoot a football game but interiors with mixed lighting gets sort of funky.

I've seen several of your police "action shots" flabbergasted that they were never published.

They recently hired a very conservative editor. The community is sort of up in arms about it. The majority of the front page is "feel good" stories. I actually get more interest in my photos now from the Spokane TV stations and sometimes the newspaper in Lewiston, Id.

9. Well, it's good to know the community is on to the editor's bias. n/t |

I will need to look for that magazine. I'm going to re-shoot the emergency room, the lighting was off and I'll use my strobes. The rehab room is very, very narrow with one end of the room covered with a large mirror. That mirror really takes away a lot of angles. I may try a fisheye lens and a ladder for better coverage.
