More Fun With Freepers...
During this time of economic chaos, I have very little to keep myself entertained and distracted from the financial shithole I think I am headed for. But the occasional obnoxious email from freepers I have grown to know and despise does offer just the kind of distraction I find I need. I have had a running war with some repukes out of Florida for the past six months. One of them forwarded some crap this morning and another friend of mine replied with "Are you really that sullen and angry?" To which this response was sent:

>>Sullen? Anyone NOT sullen over the election of the most Radical Left-wing Liberal in history will be beyond sullen by July 1st 2009. I would think that most Americans, excluding those that hate the US Constitution Allison, will be traumatized by the Radical executive orders imposed on this country by YOUR President Elect....

80%+ of Americans SUPPORT off shore drilling - Obama will impose an Executive Order on January 21st BANNING OFFSHORE DRILLING. That is RADICAL when you go against the masses. Many other things like granting Amnesty for the 20 Million illegal's (85% are against), Nationalizing health care (86% of Americans are happy with their current health care), and imposing the "Fairness Doctrine" on talk radio that 68% of Americans do NOT favor as it is an ASSAULT on free speech... These are just a few of the many things that this Clown of a President Elect will do, all the while claiming it in the moniker of the middle-class and just as a result of the Bush Administration.....

Enjoy your President Elect Clown and the misery he imposes on this great nation while he assails the US Constitution as much as possible before he is run out of Office in the same laughable fashion as Jimmy Carter was..... No need to respond, as I will never wear your rose colored Obama glasses....... I will have a big fat "I told ya so waiting for you in 2012....." My friends and family really won't know how to thank you enough when unemployment is 10%+, gas back to $4/gal, and home energy prices doubled.......

Cheers!!<<

My reply, sent 'Reply All':

Dear Nutjob,

>>If you don't think the Constitution has been traumatized by the Cheney/Bush administration, then you are even crazier than your emails would lead people to believe. Bush chewed through the Constitution like it was toilet paper. Personally, I think 'sullen' is probably too mild and not nearly accurate enough. I would go with 'foaming at the mouth mental retard', but then I am not nearly as nice as Allison is.

Go back to your mother's basement and quit bothering the sane people with your Nostradamus impersonation. You have no proof of your inane predictions and have latched onto the most idiotic things to get worked up over. But then, I guess being an idiot, idiotic is probably what you do best.

Where do you get your statistics, do you just pull them out of your ass? I hope you are washing your hands before you use the keyboard. The other people at the public library who want to use the computers after you might not want those germs on their hands. You ignorant fuckwit, of COURSE gas is going to go back to $4 a gallon. And exactly what is offshore drilling going to do about that? The most we can possibly get from every offshore oil field available to us is 1-4% of current annual consumption. YOUR OWN CANDIDATE said that the oil drilled off American shores would be placed on the global market for sale because it would be too much of a hardship for oil companies to reserve American oil for America. And the Bush administration itself said that offshore drilling would have little or no impact on gas prices.

As for the Fairness Doctrine, it would not apply to Rush Limbaugh because he is considered entertainment and not news and getting it reenacted is not exactly high up on anybody's agenda. So you don't have to be afraid that your daily ritual of jacking off to the sweet sounds of Rush's hatefest will be interfered with.

And as for all your 'President Clown' crap, if you think that has any weight at all coming from somebody who voted for BUSH twice and for John McCain and Sarah Palin, think again. The three of them couldn't scrape up an IQ higher than Radio's if you put them together. I will take the President of the Harvard Law Review over some guy who was 895th out of a class of 899 and only got his wings because his daddy was an admiral and whose major claim to fame was being unlucky enough to get shot down in enemy territory who then cheated on his wife with a rich beer heiress close to 20 years younger than he any day. When you add to that the fact that he chose a woman who cannot even speak in complete sentences, has never really been out of the country, only has a vague idea of world geography, whose total 'experience' was being governor of a state with a population smaller than that of Mecklenburg County, who thought that being able to see Russia from parts of Alaska somehow conveyed foreign policy experience on her, who gave a childhood friend a job overseeing a multimillion dollar agriculatural department in Alaska when her only qualification for the job was that she had 'always liked cows as a little girl' (can anybody say "Heckuva job, Brownie"??) and who went on a $150,000 spending spree while claiming to be just a good ole hockey mom from Alaska as his running mate...well, I have a hard time seeing how you have the GALL to cast aspersions on anybody.

I am done with stupid in the White House. Stupid didn't really work out that well for us. So, being done with stupid, I am done with you. Go crawl back under the rock you came out from under and suck your thumb, you whining pussy. And let the real grown ups, the people who are able to see colors other than black and white and who read books without pictures have their turn at fixing what twits like YOU and the people you elected fucked up.

Hey, that was fun. We should really do this again some time. R.<<

And now I am all cheered up.

2. Tell this ass monkey that MOST AMERICANS ARE PRO CHOICE.
So why did Bush continually appoint judges and issue executive orders directly contrary to the WILL OF THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS?

MOST AMERICANS THINK THE WAR IN IRAQ WAS A MISTAKE.

Why did Bush continue the occupation, even after the rebuke of the 2006 elections?

etc.

But, really, trying to reason with said nutjob is probably a monumental waste of time.

50. Pro Life as a term is so insane
Really have a laugh when anti abortion people declare they are Pro Life. Like hell. Tell that to the 4000 + American Soldiers that seem to be dead and the millions of civilians who have been killed in the crossfire.

74. i still prefer the term...
Anti-choice for them. Because that's what they are about. Pregnant? You have no choice.
Terninally ill? You have no choice.

Being pro-choice does not mean that you are pro-abortion. It simply means you choose to allow people to make their own choices regarding these things.

80. Right On! "Anti-Choice" - Don't Let THEM Define the Terms
I, too, use "Anti-Choice" to describe them, and have for a long, long time.

Too often when dealing with the Reich Wing, they are allowed to define the terms used; this gives them an unfair and undeserved advantage in any debate.

91. That's the way
I see it too...

because we don't want to give them a chance to use the opposite terms, denying them the ammunition to use against the other side.

"Pro Life"....opposite term "Anti Life" ... not acceptable.

"Anti Abortion....opposite term "Pro Abortion".... not acceptable.

Back when I was younger I had to make an important choice...but at least I HAD a choice. And my choice was not to abort. That doesn't mean I'm "anti abortion" or "pro life". It only means I'm Pro Choice, and I fully support anyone's right to make whatever choice they want.

And it's interesting too...they whine and piss and moan about "their rights" being taken away. I'm over 50 and past childbearing age. I have no personal stake in the whole issue, but I do wish for young women to have the same choice I did. I think that's one of the major differences between Republicans and Democrats... Republicans are all about "my rights"...Democrats, for the most part, are about the rights of others.

The one thing that clearly can reduce the incidence of abortion, and they'd like to outlaw that as well.

The bottom line is, the primary thing these people are interested in is stopping other people from fucking. That's it.

123. Pro-Birth is fitting b/c they don't give a $hit after a baby
is born into this world. Once out of the birth canal "baby" you are on your own.
I really don't like the idea of abortion for birth control and do not know what that statistic would be. I do know it's a decision for a perspective mother to make, not me.
The term "Pro-Life" has been hijacked by the crazies.

"I, ah...this abortion issue in the States is dividing the country right in half. You know, and even amongst my friends - we're all highly intelligent - they're totally divided on the issue of abortion. Totally divided. Some of my friends think these pro-life people are just annoying idiots. Other of my friends think these pro-life people are evil fucks. How are we gonna have a consensus? I'm torn. I try and take the broad view and think of them as evil, annoying fucks."

It resided quietly on a shelf in my living room until it started soiling the rug, at which point I moved it to the back deck.

It made friends with a lonely metal watering can and the two of them look even happier than ever.

Which only goes to show...rocks are people, too

10. Is this frothing at the mouth over things that haven't actually happened new?
I remember when the right-wing nutjobs went after Clinton. Their absurd charges were always either about (1) things Clinton actually said or did, which were wildly misinterpreted and then decried, or (2) things Clinton supposedly had done in the past, but actually didn't (drug running, murder, etc.).

This current nutjob practice of making up stuff that Obama will supposedly do in the future, but actually won't, and going ballistic over each crazy paranoid fantasy as if it had actually already happened, seems new to me. It also seems to indicate the widespread incidence of some kind of mental illness afflicting diehard right-wingers. Is it mass psychosis?

54. Pre-emptive frothing has a long and hallowed tradition among RW nutjobs.
The grandaddy of all examples is the secession of the South after Lincoln's election (but before he actually took office and did (or more to the point, not do) any of the things they claimed he would).

Why let reality spoil a good righteous outrage?

19. Yep, here it is along with what I wrote back:
His reply:

>>Dear Legend in your own Mind-

You are awfully tough behind your keyboard aren't you?

You obviously feel that you are some bastion of brilliance and that I am some uneducated peasant? I will compare Mensa cards with you at your convenience you self absorbed social misfit. I apologize in advance that no one on this earth could ever be perfect enough to live in the same world as you. Except of course the Clown Elect who hates this country, has called the constitution Fatally Flawed, and is a disgrace to America! Oh wait, he went to Harvard .... I am SO not impressed......

That is my OPINION oh perfect one.... You have yours I have mine..... You might feel like a champion slamming someone you don't know in your little group here but, you are completely out of bounds and wrong about me in most of them. I would love to spend time calling you lots of creative names and defining exactly how sorry you would be if our paths were to cross but, I have to get back to my job of clapping erasers all day while I listen to Rush Limbaugh..... Get a clue, get a life, get out of my inbox!<<

My response:

>>No, I am tough everywhere.

And you call ME a legend in my own mind?? Who sends out email after email torturing people with their inane political ramblings as if anybody is sitting around waiting in breathless anticipation for their amazing 'revelations'??

The Mensa thing...go ahead and send me a pic of that card just for shits and giggles. I think you are full of shit. I happen to actually be a real, dyed in the wool genius. Regularly test between 148 and 152. My son is even higher at 160 and I had an aunt who had an IQ of 164. I know genius when I see it and I am thinking you are no genius. I am betting the Mensa thing is a bluff. Do you know Renee? You can ask her about me if you do.

And the difference between MY opinion and YOUR opinion, oh so small minded one, is that mine actually has some facts behind it and I don't spend my day shoving it down other people's throats. I just reply. I don't start this kind of crap. I find it interesting that your reply is so...ineffectual. I mean, after all, I would have thought a genius like you would have come back with something a little better than the equivalent of "nahney nahney boo boo". BTW...it is a dead giveaway in an argument when someone OWNS you and you say, "Well, you have your opinion and I have mine." It essentially means, "I am pretty much full of shit and can't really think of anything to say." And sure you would like to spend your time calling me creative names, but since you are lying about being a genius, you can't think of any.

And if you want me out of your inbox, moron, don't send me an email. This all started when YOU sent ME an email. Don't cry because you got your wrist slapped. If you go around babbling bullshit to people you don't know eventually you are going to get busted for it. Jeez, that right there sort of makes that genius claim look a little spurious. You can get somebody to look that up for you and read you the definition. It's under 'S'.

BTW...I notice you don't have anything to say about offshore oil drilling reducing the price of gas or about the Fairness Doctrine. THAT would have been the way to go. Refute what I wrote. But you can't, can you? Because I am right. Genius does have its benefits....<<

I am not proud of the 'genius' comments. They are true, but it isn't anything I ever really talk about until I come across somebody like this twit.

Edited on Wed Nov-12-08 01:28 PM by Roxi
But I don't go around bragging about it (well, except right here, but your "friend" brought it up).

There are ways of getting into Mensa by taking tests that weren't exactly designed to test true intelligence. I knew one guy who took an Army officer test, since that used to be an accepted alternate to a real IQ test. He had to take it six or seven times before he memorized enough of it to get a qualifying score for Mensa. I think my six year old son could run circles around the guy mentally, but once you get into Mensa, they can't kick you out for being a fraud or an idiot. Oh, and he still lived at home, when he was in his 40s. Couldn't drive, either, because he couldn't pass the driver's test.

Bottom line: Being in Mensa doesn't necessarily make you a genius.

I love your responses, and I hope that he continues to show off his "intellect."

Probably all the prior members who actually were doing something in life quit coming long before i got invited. (And that was in about 1978 or 1979.)

84. A work of art! Keep us posted if you get any further "responses" from this world-class
"paragon".

I found that when I answered back on some of these fuckstick emails, it stopped many of them from coming. Many (not all but many) of the senders of these things do not want to be challenged or forced to see the light (that is, anything other than their own little narrow illogical "viewpoint"). Too much trouble. And they don't want their cages rattled. They would rather cling to the irrational "I know what I know" blather that usually bubbles to the surface when they don't have anything else cogent to say or a worthwhile/fact-based rebuttal to offer.

GREAT one! Thanks!

Oh yeah - one other thing: sometimes you actually wind up giving reinforcement to somebody else on the email chain who also doesn't agree and doesn't appreciate getting these things, but hasn't yet decided to activate and fight back. I got a few from people who usually started with some version of "...usually I just ignore (or delete) these" and/or "thanks for this - wish I'd said so myself".

We HAVE to fight back, head-on, against this shit. It only prevails because few people actually stand up and get loud and aggressive in their objection to it, and force it to stop.

Taste of their own medicine. See how they like it.

Crazy idiots, Reagan was the antichrist:

Ronald=6 letters
Wilson=6 letters
Reagan=6 letters.

On the upside, if Obama was the antichrist, they'd be getting raptured away soon and not have to deal with his administration.

what they believe is prophesized? If they truly believe in (the many different interpretations of) Revelations and there will be an antichrist, and if they truly believe Obama is he, then why aren't they all celebrating? This means Jesus is on his way! lol. And you can't alter prophsy so why all the fricking fuss? Just kick back and enjoy the show!

WTF is wrong with people that these "barstool Republicans" fall into the notion that they somehow occupy a position above the rest of the working class?

this morning. These things make me sick.

Subject: Meet Bill. I Like Him!!!

YES, I'M A BAD AMERICAN

I Am the Liberal-Progressives Worst

Nightmare. I am an American.

I am a Master Mason and believe in God.

I ride Harleys Davidson Motorcycles and

believe in American products.

I believe the money I make belongs to me

and my family, not some Liberal

governmental functionary be it Democratic

or Republican!

I'm in touch with my feelings and

I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer,

it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make

you noble or victimized, and does not

entitle you to anything. Get over it!

I believe that if you are selling me a

Big Mac, do it in English.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to

his or her God when and where they want to.

My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth ,

Roy Rogers, and

Willie G Davidson that makes the Awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste

my time watching or arguing about it.

I've never owned a slave, or was a slave,

I haven't burned any witches or been

persecuted by the Turks and neither

have you!

So, shut up already.

I believe if you don't like the way things

are here, go back to where you came

from and change your own country! This is AMERICA .

We like it the way it is!

If you were born here and don't like it

you are free to move to any Socialist

country that will have you.

I want to know which church is it

exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money,

and why he is always part of the problem

and not the solution.

Can I get an AMEN on that one?

I also think the cops have the right to

pull you over if you're breaking the law,

shown on my drivers license.

I think it's good.... And I'm proud

that

'God' is written on my money.

I think if you are too stupid to know how

a ballot works, I don't want you deciding

who should be running the most powerful

nation in the world for the next four years.

I believe the president of the United States

should put his hand over his heart and say

the pledge of allegiance and should have no reservations about wearing American flag

pins on his lapel.

I dislike those people standing in the

intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying

to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause. Get a Job and do your part!

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.

I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.

I believe the American flag should be the

only one allowed in AMERICA !

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes,

I'm a BAD American.

If you are a BAD American too, please

forward this to everyone you know.

We want our country back!

We NEED GOD BACK IN OUR COUNTRY!

WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE,
ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE

90. Made me sick, too!
MEET JIM, NOT EVERYONE LIKES HIM! SO WHAT?

YEP! I'M A GOOD AMERICAN

I am the Neocon-Conservative's worst Nightmare.

I follow their example of capitalization and

double-spacing in my replies to them but will

not omit the apostrophe indicating "possession".

I was a Master Mason, Secretary of the Lodge, until

a state officer embezzeled Masonic funds. I began

to see that Masonic dogma can be used for less-than-

good purposes and that describing one's self as

a Master Mason is intended disarm those who would

question one's character.

I ride in a four-wheeled Toyota pickup truck because

of it's utility, economy and frequency of repair

record and believe that blind allegiance to Nationalism

is a form of insanity.

I believe the money I make is the result of

the opportunity I've been provided by those

who have gone before me. Thus, I feel obligated

to see that a bit of it goes to help the needy, not

some Neocon governmental functionary to finance

wars of aggression.

I'm in touch with my feelings and try to consider

the feelings of others. And, I like it that way.

I think owning a long-gun could make you a hunter

while owning a pistol could make you a plinker,

collector, or killer. Smart Americans use a

scatter gun for home protection rather than use a

hand-cannon, the use of which might very well kill

a loved one in another room.

I think being a minority does not make you

noble or victimized. Yet, I understand that a

certain entitlement is required to ameliorate

the limitations of education imposed upon minorities

for most of their lives. A helping hand may offset

a little of the hand that held chains, whips, and ropes.

Decent folks will help their neighbors, regardless

of their color, culture, sexual orientation, age, size, or

religion. Knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing, red-necked

Neocons can take their inhumanity and stick it!

I believe that, if you are selling me a

Big Mac, you can point to a picture if

English is becoming your second language.

I believe that everyone has right to pray to

his or her god, if any, when it doesn't interfere

with critical responsibilities.

I love the memory of John Wayne, Babe Ruth, and

Roy Rogers. Yet, my heroes are Mark Twain,

Robert Ingersol, Stephen Jay Gould, Carl Sagan,

Isaac Assimov, et al.

I don't hate the rich; I consider the plight of

the poor.

I know wrestling is fake but enjoyed watching it

with Grandma, who just knew that Danny Savage was

really raking a Grand Prize beer cap across Gorgeous

George's eyes.

I've never owned a slave, though I thought I had

until my first wife got me straightened out in a

hurry. I've been a slave to a number of things

but only a boss or two who felt I should earn the

monies provided me. I haven't burned any witches,

though I've pissed-off one or two. I haven't been

persecuted by the Turks or anyone else except an

ex-wife who I wish would shut up already...and

loud-mouthed, mindless Neocons who incessantly

push ignorance over facts, Nationalism over Globalism,

Patriotism over Common Sense, Religion over Realism.

I believe if you don't like the way things

are here, you can work in our Democracy to change

them. This is a part of America, as is Canada, Mexico,

Meso- and South America. This is the United States of

America and we change it for the better as intellect

and circumstances demand.

If you were born here and don't like it, you are free

to work to change it. And, if Neocons don't like positive,

morally-required changes, they can go establish their own

dictatorship and have George W. Bush for the Dictator.

I'm not a bit interested in knowing which church it is where

Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches anymore than I am in knowing

where Ann Coulter practices law. I feel certain that

Coulter's gets her money from hate-filled, devisive

Neocons who delight in her trashy, despicable invective. She,

perhaps, he is an highest example of the Ugly American that

the rest of the world abhors.

Can I get a "Hell, yes" to that one?

I also think the cops have limited rights to pull

you over and should exercise those rights upon lawbreakers.

It is right if warranted and unacceptable if not. And, I wonder

how the general noun "god" got placed upon our currency in place of

the proper noun "YHWH". It is a mystery to me but I think that

there are folks too ignorant to understand what I've written...

and proud of that ignorance.

I think that if a ballot is so poorly designed that its

proper completion is not intuitive, then the folks that

created it are stupid or attempting fraud. I don't want them

deciding, by their deception, who should be running the most

militarily powerful nation in the world for the next

four years.

I feel that each citizen, including the President of the United

States, should honor his Country in anyway that he or she feels

fit and not by a method demanded by some Neocon nitwit.

I don't dislike folks trying to stay alive through any legal

activity. I don't feel guilt or shame for saying, "Thank you, no."

It could be that the Neocon agenda has put the poor stiff into

that untenable position.

I believe that each of us is instrumental to our society and its

children. When a child is about to do something dangerous or

illegal, it is unconscionable for an adult not to speak up. Too,

single-parent families can raise fine children who may grow up to

be President.

I believe that 'illegal' is illegal according to the law as it

stands and that unjust laws should be overturned whenever

necessary.

I believe the American flag is an honorable representation of the

group of colonies that have come together, united in their desire

to offer freedom, liberty, and opportunity to all. While it is

displayed in the highest position on a flagpole, as it should be,

no asshole Neocon will ever deprive me of flying the flag of the

Lone Star State, formerly Republic of Texas, just under it.

If this make me a GOOD American, then yes,

I'm a GOOD American.

If you are a GOOD American, too, please print this missive

out and shove it some Neocon's ass.

We've got our Country back!

WE NEED CARING, HARD-WORKING, REPECTFUL, INTELLIGENT, DECENT

FOLKS IN OUR COUNTRY WHOSE HONORABLE, WORTHY PROTESTATIONS

AND DECLARATIONS STIFLE THE HATE-FILLED GARBAGE SPEWED OUT BY

DISGUSTING NEOCONS.

WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE,
ONLY BECAUSE FOLKS WERE AND ARE BRAVE
ENOUGH TO PUT THEIR HEELS ON THE THROATS
OF THOSE WHO WOULD DIVIDE US UNDER THE
GUISE OF PATRIOTISM!

How satisfactory will you rate your health care? Will you be able to pay for it?

When every American has clean air and water, we'll all be sorry for voting in a liberal. When Exxon hasn't destroyed your favorite beach with oil drilling we'll all be sorry. When Bill Gates and the Walton's tax breaks are Not twice the average American's income, then we will really be sorry we voted in the damn liberal. America may not be able to survive this much good government.

121. I would love to see the day
Edited on Thu Nov-13-08 06:21 PM by ann_american2004
when health care is fixed and pharmacists stop treating everyone like dirt. Walgreens made me BAWL today. It's horrible the way they treat people. I constantly have to double check what they do because it is always wrong - wrong prescriptions, wrong directions, or faxed to my dr for insurance when the prescription isnt even covered, as I've told them already. Time sensitive med orders that they are sitting on unfilled without even calling me because they are too busy fighting over who has the next break. They just cant get their act together. I finally had it. I bawled! It was so humiliating. And frightening. I stopped by this last time because of a gut feeling, again. I cant depend on my intuition every time. And they act always like it was something I did. I hate walgreens. I cannot wait for all of this to be completely overhauled. ALL OF IT!

off my soapbox....

ps - just talking to friend Ive found two other people who wont ever go there again because of THEIR experiences with them. Across country. It's mind boggling.

81. Terrific!! And your second reply really baRACKS!!
You're so right about the "well that's your opinion" gambit! They always default to that--or, "jesus Loves You". Spoken with seething hate!! Haaaaaahahah!

What is it about facts that these people don't want to see? How is it that their world view of self-righteous anger fed by illusions is so dear to them? I just don't get it; it leaves me absolutely tongue-tied. And I don't speak well as it is!! :P And I never get nutsoid emails *wipes a tear*, so awwww shucks, no opportunity to reply in writing!

I don't think I'm dumb by any means, but I never seem to be able to gather my thoughts when these crazy myth mongers start bellowing--the inverted thinking that characterizes their talking points is soooooo---insane, for lack of a better word, that I just can't come up with succinct replies! Drives me nuts. (but I did see a link that gathers a bunch of spurious talking points shot down with nice crisp FACTS. Yay! Now if I can just memorize it as an antidote to stuttering)

tee hee--*spurious*...that's been a fav word of mine since I was a preteen and saw it on an ad in a comic book for AMAZING spurious Money Drawing Indian Chief Oil.

So, beautifully done!!!!! :applause:

Is there anyone interested in forming a cerebral strike team that is willing to travel to the bowels of the slimosphere and take out the slimebags on foreign forums? I would like to enlist my patriotic feelings and knowledge towards such a cause. Strike Team of Brainiacs to combat Freepers Unite!?!?

92. I'm always torn between
this type of fabulous slap down response and something really derisively dismissing like:

YAWN! You whiners are SO last century, you don't even know how to use the internet to check what the real facts are. Please send more delusions. All my friends, family, and co-workers are really enjoying laughing at them (and you know, laughter is so healthy so thanks for the health boost). If I don't reply each time that's just because I'm busy having a life but don't worry, I keep a record of all your silly beliefs - if just as a reminder of how foolishly wrong some people can be.

Or even just nothing more than: YAWN - zzzzz

102. ACTUAL POLL FIGURES!
Rasmussen Reports a telephone survey—-conducted before McCain announced his intentions on the issue--finds that 67% of voters believe that drilling should be allowed off the coasts of California, Florida and other states. Only 18% disagree and 15% are undecided. Conservative and moderate voters strongly support this approach, while liberals are more evenly divided (46% of liberals favor drilling, 37% oppose).

A poll conducted by Zogby International on behalf of the Federation for American Immigration Reform 60% of voters said reducing illegal immigration and cracking down on employers who hire them is important to them, while only 21% supported "legalizing or creating a pathway to citizenship" for illegal aliens.

A Rasmussen poll shows 39% oppose a government-led National Health Insurance initiative while 31% are not sure.

Rasmussen: Nearly half of Americans (47%) believe the government should require all radio and television stations to offer equal amounts of conservative and liberal political commentary.

104. I love those freepers - they're great for mindless entertainment. He/she refused to recognize...
...

Unemployment was hovering around 4% in 2000, now over 6% under their dimwit president (an increase of roughly 50%)
Gasoline has already been over $4.00 a gallon, under their dimwit president.
Home energy prices have more than doubled already under their dimwit president.

I could go on but that addresses three specifics it mentions in it's post.

Where do they get this crap? I think they've been hanging around "Joe Sixpack" too long and cracking open too many of them.

119. The health care statistic, if it is accurate, is misleading
About 1/2 the population has no health care.

So that leaves only the people who have access that are able to say if they are satisfied.

I just laugh at the comedy that is the modern Republican, especially when the beliefs they spew go against their best interests. When they defend the wealthy (you know, because they'll BE wealthy someday . .. just you WAIT! :eyes: ), it makes me laugh and cringe at the same time.
