Why didn't the US government, British, or for gossakes Israeli government, go after the Nazis who ran off to Argentina, and other countries?

Not Israel, of course. They have been hunting down the war criminals, the US and Britain helped escape for years.

Israel did go after some and actually caught some. But I am not sure of that. I seem to remember they went and kidnapped a few from Argentina and got them tried... Have to do some more research on that I guess.
