My hometown Winnipeg featured on ;The Office; tonite
Apparently we're the Scranton of Canada.
Steve Correll's character is stoked because he gets to go on on an international business trip to Winnipeg.
Unbeknownst to Steve, Winnipeg is a temperature challenged ordinary city in the middle of the flat prairies. Something along the lines of Omaha. (was home to Neal Young though)
It should be a hoot. I'm looking forward to the mocking.
BTW, the producers had some local fare shipped to LA from Winnipeg to give some authenticity.
Old Dutch chips and Fort Garry Ale to name a few things.
Anyway, I must leave. We're headed to the Elephant and Castle to buy Steve some drinks.

1. Are they actually IN Winnipeg or just pretending?

Whenever anyone wants to do Alaska, they always go to Washington or British Columbia, and it looks nothing like Alaska, except maybe Southeast. (Except for interviews with Sarah, I should say.)

2. Just pretending;
It would have been great to have them here though. I love that show. It's must see tv for us.
All the characters add an interesting dimension to the show. Dwight, hands down is my favourite.
He plays such a good nut job. Just hilarious.

4. I'm kind of partial to Pam.
I've never been a receptionist, but I've worked in plenty of offices where the receptionist is the only sane one in the place...just like Pam. She's a great role model. :)

5. Yes, but when will Saskatoon get its moment in the sun?
I mean besides two weeks in August.
