I wish Obama was a Republican.
If he were, when he resigns, Rod Blagojevich could pick a Democrat to replace him and we could pick up another seat in the Senate. My wife says that doesn't make sense. Shows you what she knows. She doesn't know about filibuster and such as.

19. I don't know that it matters much, with Lieberman still there.
Without him, they can only get to 59. So Lieberman still has enough power (committee chairmanship or not) to piss in the Democrats cornflakes.
