What do people think of the CNN Coverage?

At first, I wasn't too sure about this reporter Sara Seidner, but as time goes by, I have to say that she's exhibiting the best features of old-fashioned reporting: Facts as she sees them only, no speculation, physically brave but not taking stupid chances, respectful of the situation and not self-aggrandizing at all IMO. I'm impressed...

1. I Think The Coverage In Mubai Is Good Stuff...

I tune out the bobbleheads in the studio but this Sara Seidner is doing some classic coverage...being straight up and honest at how fluid things are...also Nic Robertson covering the Chabad stand-off. These people are living and going with the moment...and some compelling coverage. I've long been critical of CNN's domestic coverage, but when it comes to International, they're still the go-to American network. A dissapointment is that BBC America has had limited coverage...and, IMHO, the CNN coverage is better than what I've seen elsewhere.

Seider may be a regular on CNN International so we haven't seen much of her before this.

4. Given the choice I've got

of CNN, BBC or SKY I prefer the BBC's coverage. But having said that CNN has got Anjali Rao as I write.

flay me.......lol. I just think she's nice - about the same age as my daughter I'd guess. She was on our UK Ch5 news and then Sky News prior to shipping out to Hong Kong for CNN.

As an aside its a great shame our BBC news doesn't stream live to the USA as I think you'd enjoy it. Not sure whether you can stream Sky or not. Give this a try out of interest : http://www.tvlizer.com/content/view/776/633/

8. I think she's done a great job and I sent CNN a comment on their

website commending the work she has been doing. I've been very impressed with the work she is doing and I see her as a true journalist, getting out the story in a straightforward manner and holding her own in a very dangerous situation.
