What's with MSNBC...they can't field a news staff on a Friday? |
|
Edited on Fri Nov-28-08 07:03 PM by Fla Dem
Turn on MSNBC to watch the shows and get Caught on Camera. I know it's the Friday after Thanksgiving, but hey MSNBC, the news doesn't stop. Brian Williams is on NBC, Wolf Blitzer is on CNN, Fox has a 2nd stringer doing Brit Humes job. But MSNBC doesn't even put in the 2nd string. This has bothered me on Saturdays and Sundays. I turn MSNBC for news and get canned programs. No wonder they have a hard time holding market share. If they can't be depended on to be a 24 hour news channel, viewers go where they can get the news. Sorry, just ranting.

4. Possibly because they are a 4th rate 2 bit cable |
|
operation with no viewership? Why is there any expectation for anything else from them? I long ago blocked them from my system, they were just a waste of pixels.

5. I think they've added SOME news content on regular weekends.. |
|
but I guess a holiday weekend is just too much to ask.
My guess is that they will gradually give up the cop doc crap as their viewership grows the from the good looking end of their business . . . . .

8. Whenever I flip thru the tv listing |
|
seems they're always showing their prison show marathons.
I don't even bother with them anymore and if pressed will tune into CNN.
They're a news channel the way MTV is music.

10. Most of the MSNBC shows aren't proper news. They're commentary. |
|
That's why they're named for their hosts.

11. I know. This drives me crazy. |

Those canned programs are crap, too. Who the hell watches that?
Why have a news channel that doesn't provide news? There's a huge story going on right now, people are dying, things are still terribly uncertain. And they think we give a crap about Caught on Camera or Prison Break or whatever the heck other stupid on the cheap show they've come up with as filler?
I totally agree with you. I hate it.

12. I swear they turned on the video machine in front of one camera on Wednesday at midnight. |
|
All the employees left and the last one out locked the door. They won't be back until Monday. I'll betcha that happened.
