An analogy: digging up the bodies in the basement/backyard |

Reading about all the scandals, with all the sordid facts finally becoming available and on record, it just reminds me of how when a mass murderer is finally busted, and all the bodies are being dug up in the yard, and the neighbors are looking on and shaking their heads in disbelief since they never had a clue about what their neighbor was up to.
Except, most of us *did* have a clue, many clues -- but surely some of the public are getting a wake-up call I hope.

I mean, let's not overreact here. There might be political repercussions for entertaining impeachment discussions. I mean, yes, it is congress' job 'n stuff, but we don't want to appear insufficiently centrist.
