I'm looking for colleagues to form a DU member based intelligence community |
|
focusing on bringing the CRIMINALS of the BUSH/CHENEY administration into courts of law (here and internationally) to answer to those of us that will not forget what these CRIMINALS have done.
We could consolidate a lot of things, promote and publish our efforts collectively.
I'm serious as a heart attack about this-these BUSH/CHENEY ADMINISTRATION CRIMINALS will be held accountable--they must be PROSECUTED.
A lot of DUers have information that can be used for investigations and INDICTMENTS.
Those of you into deep politics that have been here for awhile understand this well-let's do this.
Who would be interested in forming an "intelligence community" here dedicated to bringing BUSH/CHENEY CRIMINALS into courts?

sorry, that just sort of bubbled up....
I'd dearly love to see the Bushies* prosecuted, but not sure what influence we would have outside of pressure on elected representatives...

3. Don't underestimate the ability of DU. There have been a few matters |
|
that our computer geniuses have been absolutely great in organizing and digging up info. Unfortunately I am not one of them.

10. There has been a lot of publishing based on information that originated here |
|
I'm going offline until Monday.
I hope to see some real interest about this develop over the weekend.
The goal is to hold BUSH/CHENEY CRIMINALS ACCOUNTABLE TO THE LAW.

6. I'm going to be applying more pressure on elected reps-and this will be done openly |
|
besides, I know of many CRIMES committed behind the shield of "national security" and the abuse of security classification systems-that is not democracy, it's also a crime.
My rationale is that these criminals fear only one thing-public knowledge and a demand for justice that far outweighs their corrupted intimidation and coercion networks.

4. Well it sounds like a good idea to me at least on the surface |
|
But I am not sure how that would work. Because to developer the intelligence you need would require basically spying, and things that could be construed as illigal... But I will kick and recommend it to see just where you want to go with this.

13. TPM used many people's input to create the big picture of Attorneygate. |
|
It was a small story that grew legs. Much information came from folks who had access to local news and blogs that we would have never heard of otherwise. Some people were in government and able to share information anonymously. The story got so big even the MSM had to cover it, but first Leahy and others noticed. did not take that long, either. I was one of many people who found out patterns, pieces, by looking at open source internet data. One thing I found out there was a pattern of which states Rove was focusing on..\
bob is right..the pieces and info. is out there, just has not been pooled by topic or incident in a widespread manner. Look what the Mudflats blog did with Palin.
I for one want to hear more, bob...I am a good researcher. PM me if you like.

14. Not necessarily. Just think of it as being private eyes, but instead of |
|
digging up dirt on someone's spouse, we dig it up on them. There's a lot that can be done legally but covertly.

5. I don't know about the degree of "intelligence", but hit the 9/11 Forum. |
|
There is no shortage of "extremely dedicated" individuals there.

Just collate info already available on this site and links provided. Informal intelligence community already exists, but without the label:hide: it is dangerous to draw attention to the fact that you might know things that you are not supposed to.

12. What specifically are you proposing. I am interested. |
|
Notice for NSA: In no way does my interest suggest that I would ever collude against any legally elected government of the USofA. I hereby pledge my allegiance to the Constitution of the United States and promise to defend it against those that would try to subvert it (e.g. Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Berto, Rove, well you get the idea.) And to those of you working for the NSA, I know it is just a job and things are tough but I still hold you responsible and accountable for helping the enemies of the Constitution.
Have a good day!

17. Wanting conviction, prosecution, or truth. |
|
I don't mind multiple approaches.
We'd also have to change some opinions that it can't be done.
Yes, we can.
