I guess since our anger towards the Rethuglicans and Sarah Failing has dissipated, let's take up the sword and shield and attack Wal-Mart one more time today, Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

2. Other: I don't "hate" Wal-Mart, I just refuse to support them by shopping there.
Wal-Mart isn't evil, its goals are just not compatible with mine.

4. The Wal-Mart in my area is dirty. Furthermore, we have 2 Targets and 2 Meijers,
so Wal-Mart is unnecessary.

7. I miss Mom and Pop stores.
Yeah, maybe they didn't have everything but they employed people (not at slave wages) and made for thriving downtowns and pride in the community. The convenience and ability to buy anything we want 24 hours a day has come at a cost.

8. SO true.
In the town I just moved from, they put the bike store, pet store, and camera shop OUT since they opened two years ago. Target didn't cause them to go out, they were fine for three years until Wal-Mart moved in. And they had been there for the 25 some odd years I lived there.

It's dumb, it's ugly, it smells bad and it's mother dresses it funny.

I have not visited one since 1995.
