If Congress caves and gives El Diablo everything he wants in exchange for an informal interview with Rove and Miers, we are so screwed.

11. Until I see Karl on C-Span, We will see.
Sorry guys, I just have not seen any backbone from the Dems... Sure they are talking a good game, but as soon as they get an ounce of push back from the White House they fold like a $2 chair.

I would love to be wrong, but so far, I am right.

9. Yeah, that's just how Leahy and Schumer
sound. Not. Look, they're standing by their decision to vote on subpoenas Thursday. I really can't see them backing away from that.

2. Absolutely.
But since there are Republicans who are also pissed off, maybe they WON'T cave (I'm trying to be optimistic......).

3. It is seriously politically stupid for them to off this. Not under oath? The obvious question the
average person will ask "what do they have to hide?" They would have been better off stonewalling.

7. The very fact that
they will not take an oath (not like I trust them to NOT lie) is such a red flag.

10. since spector already allowed gonzo without being under oath, I'd say that's how we got in this mess
in the first place.

I agree, not just no, but HELL NO.

12. Don't count Conyers among dem cave-ins. That men led the group of 13
who walked out of congress in protest of the 2000 supreme court decision.
He stood up against certifying the ohio votecount in 2004.
he held hearings in a basement, and much much more.
Conyers is a brave, honest, heroic man.
