1. Give them time
Bush will probably get the Medal of Freedom and have his likeness added to Mt. Rushmore at this rate.

2. So, what do we do now?
I mean instead of just having a big screaming match with each other. :P

Most of us feel very strongly that these issues are critical to the future, even the survival of our country. It is also clear that the Dem establishment is just as beholden to corporate interests and the Washington power structure as the Reps. So, how do we get our representatives to actually represent us, within our corrupt system? We are already being dismissed as the loony left, just like we were when we criticized the invasion of Iraq, bank deregulation, regressive tax policy, NAFTA-style trade policies, the bankruptcy bill, and so on. I am tired of having to say "I told you so" after being proven painfully correct again and again. How do we make our voices heard over the ringing of cash registers on K Street?

3. Nothing to do as far as I can see.
PE Obama may have this secret master plan that amazes and delights us all. I might win the Lotto. After all though, the worst case Obama presidency is far superior to a best case Repuke presidency. There's always a way to see things more positively.

4. Well, yeah.
I just think we have to be very proactive. When Clinton got elected, everyone was like "Whew! We won! Everything is going to be okay now, so I can go think about something else..." Next thing you know, we had the Reagan economic agenda shoved down our throats by our own president.
