The 2012 Democratic primaries shouldn't have a fight. Good time to move Florida, Arizona, |
|
Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas or some other southern and southwestern states into Iowa and New Hampshire's slots at the front. It's a perfect time to make the move as there will not be any appearance of giving a candidate an advantage or disadvantage. It's long past time for the Democratic party to move more diverse states into primary dates that have more weight on the decision.
I think a combination of a big state and a small state would be good. Texas might not be a swing state in 2012 but it won't be long.
