Why did congress pass bailout of financial institutions without much debate but are hesitant about.. |
|
the auto industry? It seems to me if the big three go down it's pretty devastating to our economy as well. And I'm sure that the executives who came to testify about the financial institution bailout also came in private jets (or at least most of them), but that never became an issue with them.

3. John Stewart had a good point last night - probably because they actually 'get' the auto industry |
|
They actually understand what the auto industry does, and the product that it makes, because it's physical and we all know cars.
The financial stuff, though, probably not very well understood and mysterious and kind of scary, and so the politicians just do whatever the financial guys tell them to.
I think he has a good point.

4. and some of the shitty dems were bought off with pork |
|
what makes me think of massive corruption though is the lack of oversight and that they won't account for the money
sadly it may be corruption on large level

5. Because of the shirts. |

See, Wall St. bankers wear blue shirts with white collars, and automotive workers wear blue shirts with BLUE collars! Get it?
