Why did no one in Congress raise the issue of health care in light of the car company crisis? |

Was there not one 'progressive' Democrat in the hearings?
Why was this not at least floated as an idea?
Anyone?
Beuhler?
Beuhler?
Edit to change a spelling error in the thread title

4. I can't remember which member raised it.... |
|
but I heard several talk about the fact health care is provided in other countries and not an expense of companies like it is for the Big 3. I remember one Rethug immediately commented after that "someone" would have to pay for health care if it was not supplied by employers. Making it sound terrible that taxpayers would have to pay.

2. It certainly wasn't very much discusssed in the media. |
|
I thought for sure someone would bring it to the fore loudly. Do you think some people in the media just don't "get" it? Are they just lazy and stupid for not doing their homework?

5. It was raised and quickly dismissed. This is not about solving problems, it is about |

how to most effectively break the unions while stealing as much as possible from The People before the jig is up. We have had no representation in DC for 50 years, probably more.
