Meanwhile, as Rome burns, the Emperor is at the Army-Navy football game...
As our economy collapses around us, and as employers cut their workers by a half-million per month, our Commander in Chief is at the annual Army-Navy football game. I'm sure as soon as this game is over, he will call all his economic advisers together, along with the leaders of both Parties, and work out a strategy until the new President can take over on January 20th of next year.

Even the members of his own Party are calling for Barack Obama to be more "assertive" and presidential. Nevermind that he doesn't even have his Cabinet chosen yet, we need a leader right now. We can't wait until January 20th. Never mind the legality or the constitutionality of the President-elect taking over for present President. Nevermind that the House and Senate Leadership can call the Congress back anytime for emergency business. They would rather defer all decisions to the new President. God forbid that they might have to make a decision that might come up in their next election.

So, what should Barack Obama do? Should he just assume the Presidency? And start making decisions right now? And let George W Bush continue on his legacy tour?

7. Scuttelbutt has it that he is prone (pun intended) to drink while watching football.

(WMR) With less than two months remaining in office, George W. Bush, witnessing a devastating defeat for the Republican Party, worse favorability ratings than those of Richard Nixon at the height of the Watergate scandal, and the most devastating economic situation since the Great Depression, is reported by a number of well-placed sources in Washington as drinking heavily.

After having tried to explain away the collapse of several Wall Street brokerage houses by saying, “Wall Street got drunk,” it appears that it is Bush who is suffering from bouts of drunkenness.

snip

WMR has long reported on Bush’s heavy drinking. On July 31, 2007, WMR reported: “WMR has learned that the January 13, 2002, incident in which President Bush claimed to have choked on a pretzel and passed out briefly was a cover story designed to divert the media’s attention away from Bush’s heavy drinking. A well-placed White House source has confirmed a previous account of another well-connected White House source that Bush had been drinking while watching a Sunday NFL playoff game between Baltimore and Miami.

The White House nurse on duty examined Bush after he passed out from drinking at around 5:35 pm and took a blood sample ostensibly to check his blood sugar levels. The blood sample reportedly showed Bush’s blood alcohol content at a level considered to be legal intoxication.

Bush fell from his couch bruising his cheek and cutting his lip. His eyeglasses also cut the side of his face. Bush blamed the incident on his failure to heed his mother’s advice and chew all his food before he swallowed.”

5. Hell, even the repubs in congress don't want stupid making
Any "Decides", a special form of "Decider" before he gets that pen or pencil he signs stuff with taken away. That guy is mentally retarded. We just thought he was stupid, nope, retarded. And he has given retarded a bad name. Laura Baby is a perfect match for un-curious George.

It is truly embarrassing and scary to watch george try to suck up to the media and the stupid that are still his followers during his daily short updates, hahaha. We have all watched for his total meltdown, won't happen, he is incapable of understanding what he has done. That is what his attorneys will say when in court, ok, they will never be any trial. Reagan at least had Alzheimer's to blame for his law breaking adventures.
