1. "decorated"??? That term is being used propagandistically. |
Nowhere are the "decorations" itemized. National Service Medal? Everyone gets it. They're former military ... but that's a given since that's about all the Blackwater hires. It's not unusual for the military to get rid of "loose cannons" in a fairly benign way. Our "all-volunteer" military attracts w WIDE range of folks ... mostly those from economic circumstances that make the military look like the most feasible way to get health care, possible education benefits, or even just a paycheck.

2. "Decorated"vets who went back to Iraq for huge paychecks |
Of course, any vet that has a medal cannot act like a trigger-happy thug, now can they? That medal is PROOF that they are innocent, right? :sarcasm:

4. How sad. You know what they say about absolute power. |
Those guys were told they could get away with anything. There will always be a few that cross the line under those circumstances. I have the same theory about Duke Cunningham. He thought being repug made him immune. Has anyone seen the History Channel documentary about air combat that featured him and his co-pilot? These guys were amazing. Re-enactments and eyewitness accounts showed them out-maneuvering MIGs and shooting them down.
