If a prosecutor has witnesses lying to him and he doesn't feel confident that the other evidence is enough for a conviction, then he must drop the charges if he wants to keep his integrity.

Saying that you don't need to worry about things like evidence and procedure because the accused is just so evil (Rove) is the exact same mentality as Rove and Cheney. "These people want to give rights to terrorists!"

It's not what you know, it's what you can prove to a judge, and you don't get any second chances.

I hope it's a non-issue. I know this has been in the works for awhile, but I think it's important to ask these questions and be sure. Are there any other examples of state or national politicians who've said, "Stop doing business with the bank?" Maybe I'm just to young to remember, but it seemed pretty unprecedented to me.
