That does look like it would be warm and I suppose, to some, the governor wearing it does show a respect for the native culture. It would be better that she provide them the resources to stay warm this winter and better education opportunities, don't you think.

7. The dress on that little girl
is inappropriate. I'm no prude - in fact, I'm mostly a tramp - but a seven-year-old girl doesn't wear something low-cut like that, or show that much skin. Maybe with a turtleneck under it, but that's just wrong.

Her mother looks like a loveseat.

70. We all wore our mother's heels
when we were seven. My forty-two year old cousin Ralphie is STILL wearing them, but that's neither here nor there.

That kid is so little, and she's been so dragged around. I noticed that Willow didn't show up nearly as often, and Bristol, well, she's locked in the basement until she gives birth, no doubt. Wanna bet not one picture of a hugely pregnant Bristol is going to find its way to a newspaper or web page?

Along with Joe not-a-Plumber, that whole family should just disappear.

Are we old-fashioned? :wow:

Maybe my girls were more bouncy/active than most at that age cuz anything cut like that dress would have had me repeating nonstop "fix your dress".
The online article over at ADN said that only three of the kids were there...Piper, Willow, and Trig. No Bristol. So when Sarah releases their Xmas card family pic (you know she will have one and it will be all over the M$M), do we get **all** the kids ...due date IS "around Dec 18th" per Levi so do we get to see the "grandbaby", too???? Or will it be like their People mag cover pose where Bristol was dressed in a loose black frock and hidden behind the rest of the family? The posing for that pic took on a whole new meaning once the story broke of her "pregnancy".

When I went out recently to buy a holiday dress and dressy shoes for my 6 year old, about all you could find in the size 6 and above were low cut dresses like that, either sleeveless or with short sleeves, and shoes with heels on them. It was depressing.

It was the professional stylist that made her look less goofy. Palin's personal fashion is very hit-and-miss. If she knew how to assemble outfits with stylish consistency, she wouldn't need the high-priced clothing. Then again, maybe she's playing the hausfrau frump on purpose.
