Wonder why Rove was never wire-tapped??? |
|
Betcha good old "We'll *bleep* him like he's never been *bleeped* before"(tm) said and did things that would make Blago look like a choirboy.
Here's my guess: Blago was out for Blago, Rove represented The Powerful.

1. Rove was a corporofascist powermonger. |
|
One law for anti-corporatists and Dems.. no law for corporofascists like Rove, Bush, and Cheney, their cronies and lackeys.

2. Well, unless he was engaging in terrorist activities, |
|
the obtaining of a warrant for a wire tap on Rove might have been pretty difficult - no, make that impossible - to obtain.

4. What makes you think he wasn't? |

Rummy was running an independent intelligence apparatus to leverage the NeoCons in the center of power.

7. Yes, I'm having those thoughts, too. |

What I love about being a Democrat & being here on DU is that we all want the government to be fair & honest.
I don't think anyone here is sympathetic to the Illinois governor.
But I'm in the number of those who look at the inequity involved in the quality & thoroughness of Fitz's investigations.
And the catalyst for my thinking was the remark made by the FBI guy at the press conference: that he didn't know if Illinois is the most corrupt state, but it certainly is one hell of a competitor.
This guy works for the FBI. And they couldn't get Bush, Cheney, or pigboy Rove?
Excuse me if I don't join in the celebrating.

8. Past tense versus present tense. |
|
The Rove investigation involved looking at events that had happened months earlier, while the Blag (I guess nobody can spell it!) investigation was about ongoing events.
