So now Harry Reid wants to get tough about something.
Finally found his gonads and asked Governor Blagojevich to step down. Hmmm...

You know, Harry, this just doesn't wash with me.

Yes, the Governor of Illinois looks to be corrupt, just like so many others in our government. Yet you selectively choose who you are going to enforce the laws on. Governor Blagojevich, as bad as he may be, did not lie to Congress, the American people, and the rest of the world to start a war that would fill the coffers of his "base" and eventually bankrupt the American treasury and economy.

I haven't heard of Governor Blagojevich outing a covert CIA agent that was investigating who might have weapons of mass destruction. And doing so for purely political purposes as retribution for something that agent's relative reported that wasn't favorable to the illegal war started by President Bush.

I don't believe that Governor Blagojevich is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent American troops, and possibly hundreds of thousands or millions of innocent Iraqi people.

Yet you choose to put your foot down now, after looking the other way for 8 years. You choose to set an example of this man, who on a scale of badness is certainly well below that of President Bush and Vice President Cheney. You'll ask this man to step down as Governor of Illinois, yet you've done nothing when this administration violated Federal law and the Constitution by spying on the American people, and then lying to us about it when caught.

What is worse than a President lying to the American people?

What is worse than a President who defies the Constitution, the single document that protects all of us?

What is worse than a President who lies to start a war that has cost America its robust economy, and the lives of thousands of our troops?

What a disgrace you are, Harry Reid. You and Nancy Pelosi should also step down. If you really want change, if you really want things to be better for the American people under President Obama (I LOVE typing that!), you and your ilk who have allowed so many criminal acts to go unpunished should join Governor Blagojevich and STEP DOWN NOW.

DO IT FOR AMERICA.

1. This is a perfect issue for Harry, it isn't his state, there is wide agreement and he has no risk

in any outcome.

Now we know for exactly what sort of issue Harry was keeping his powder dry.

3. It is politically safe...
.. to bag on Rod. To speak out on those other issues would involve risk.

The Republican party is a party of liars, double-dealers and scum, the Dem party is a party of pantywaists.

4. It was a pretty safe call.
Since just about everyone else had already beaten him to it. This is like casting a vote, knowing it won't make any difference, but it's good for PR back home.

5. Our Democrats on the Hill are the most tone-deaf crew in the
History of Congress.

This is a State Issue. Let Illinois take care of it.
They always let the Media sucker them into looking like , excuse me
but they look like Idiots.

If this were on the GOP side, you better believe it would have been
a one day story. Any updates would have come from the state involved.

The Dems on the Hill are not helping Obama. Even though there is
no connection to Obama and this has been stated--keeping Il. in
the limelight is not helpful. They have more than enough to keep
them busy.

6. As Harry Reid participates in driving the Final Stake...
...through the heart of Working Class Americans, he gets mad about a Chicago politician.

7. Harry Reid is a disgrace
I'm learning that a lot of Dems are basically cowards with absolutely no backbone. There is no principle for which they would stand and fight for. This makes them, in my opinion, absolutely worthless as a representative of the people. They need to go.

9. There IS an issue for which they will stand...
They ALWAYS rise to an occasion that will help further enrich their Wealthy Corporate benefactors.
There are individuals within the Democratic Party that are an exception to this rule, but they are an extreme minority that is always marginalized by the Elite Insiders.

If you would like a quick Litmus Test, look for the individual Democrats who opposed the No Strings Attached Bailout of the Wall St CEOs. Those are the ones working for you.

"There are forces within the Democratic Party who want us to sound like kinder, gentler Republicans. I want us to compete for that great mass of voters that want a party that will stand up for working Americans, family farmers, and people who haven't felt the benefits of the economic upturn."---Paul Wellstone

Note: In protest of the continuing occupation of OUR Uuhite House by the illegal and totally corrupt Bush/Cheney regime of thugs and cronies, I REFUSE to use the letter betuueen "V" and "X". Instead, I use a "double u", as in "Uuhite House".

is Obama a disgrace as well?
