John McCain is on with Letterman, and he is OH so RELAXED |
|
He's funny, cordial, appreciative of Obama's selections in the cabinet (including HRC as SoS) he is making me so very happy all over again about having lost. Mostly the reason is that he is an old man, and we had OBAMA in our corner.
McCain shows laid back wit and intellect, a relatively intact self image, and obviously a tremendous weight has been lifted off his shoulders.
He was not up to the task he sought, and he knows it. He is one damn happy camper, and I applaud it. Go John. Into Oblivion.

10. McCain's always been worried about global warming. |
|
Saw him on Letterman, ages ago, well before the campaign, and that's all he talked about, global warming. He'd been part of a group that traveled to northern Scandinavia to witness the melting of the ice and glaciers. It must have made a big impression on him because he was very emphatic. So that's one issue he is good on, not enough to elect him president, but he is good on that...:hi:

12. To be honest, I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to him during the campaign. |
|
I knew more than enough about him. But I do believe that it did come up at least once in the presidential debates. Of course, there's also the fact that each debate addressed a specific issue...:-)

14. I fully agree with the way you say there was a way out of the responsibility |
|
to create uproar over an issue. Considering that now, tonight, he tells us he has concerns for our survival as a species if we don't change our ways, and a few weeks ago he stuck to a formula for the moment and did not bring it up, I simply say: F Him. When there is a fire at home, we don't leave town and talk about that fires don't burn.

16. I agree with you. He was alternately clueless and aggravating in all the debates. |
|
He also told lies. And his transition has been very disappointing to me because I liked him back in 2000, and when, after that, he attacked the administration more than the Democrats did. But I guess he sold his soul. Too bad. :-(

8. The more I remember his sorry self just a few weeks ago |
|
with me doing tailspins saying things like: " you can't the hell be serious" it is now so blatantly clear he was shitting us on all the major issues, incl. Sarah, in a very calculated and politically expedient way.
I knew it then, but I know it better now.
And I hate him more than ever.

You may be getting conned, but that butcher murdered Vietnamese and gloried in it. You're a kind-hearted person, but don't let the professional swindlers and liars scam you. He is as evil as they come.
