These are words thrown about by the nooz readers as they do the week's post mortem on this Saturday morning.

Let's look at them .......

Luxury jets - a completely loaded term. What other kind of corporate jet is there aside from a 'luxury' jet. By definition, having a jet at one's disposal is a luxury. But push that aside. The jets are just symbolic. No, I don't condone them, but they are hardly the root of the issue, now are they? It is just an easy way from some grandstanding political asshole to look loike he or she is being tough.

Viability - tell ya what, people, if the WALL STREET MOTHERFUCKERS would shake loose a few bucks for car loans, the car biz would be much better off. Of course, that criticism applies to ...... GMAC ..... which now considers itself a bank. It was **supposed** to be a way for the company to make a few bucks while keeping the well primed. Oh well .... tough shit, America. We had that DiTechie thing we hadda do .......

Compensation - as long as this is about what the big guys get, then yeahokayfine. If the letters "U", "A", or "W" are in the discussion, kiss my ass.

Restructure - this one could be the real killer. What does it mean? Move manufacturing to ..... anywhere where it is hard to get a union in there. If ya can't break the union, just run away. Make Chevys in Liberia. Or Louisiana. Make Buicks in Bangladesh. Or Tennessee. Make Chryslers in China. Or Alabama.

Concessions - I was saving the best for last. The UAW will .... ::::sigh:::: ..... just have to kick in a little bit, too. (<---sarcasm) No matter that their last concessions haven't even kicked in yet. Never mind that the new unions members get fucked before they even start. Never mind that tomorrow's retirees have a no choices apart from Alpo or Friskies and a WalMart First Aide Kit instead of actual medical care. Nah, they gotta give more. Its for the good of the nation, dontcha know. And besides ..... those execs are going to be giving up their luxury jets, right?







You know ...... give us Universal Single Payer Health Care and we take TEN PERCENT, MINIMUM off the fixed costs of the car makers ..... and many other businesses. To say nothing of providing a true lift to every man, woman, and child in this country.

Nah ...... the Repubicans might call it socialized medicine and they might call us socialists.
