Crossing the aisle to meet the GOP is one aisle we should not cross |

I'm all for bipartisanship... when it works.
But, for now, we've got to ask ourselves; if we are crossing the aisle, who are we going to meet on the other side?
We are going to meet people and organizations who have come up and executed ideas that simply do not work.
The other side is responsible for: Trickle down economics Letting white collar criminals have a say in how our government works Dividing America with pointless and backward socially conservative policies Destroying America's standing in the world
Meeting with them means that these failed policies will at the least means they will be continued, when they should be stamped out of existence.
We're supposed to be crossing the aisle, not going back in time, or walking into a den of criminals to meet the other side.
And that's why we can't cross the aisle to meet the Republican Party or the Conservative Movement.

1. Well, we already have 'crossed the aisle' with some selections |
|
made. (LaHood, Gates, Mills) So now we get to sit back and see how effective it might be.

We need to immediately and completely eradicate any opposition to the stated goals of the progressive, liberal, left. There is no chance of unity. There is no solution. It is us vs. them. Although the us and them changes, the only route to success is a one lane road, without curves, and with no u-turns. And a very large bus.

4. We won. They should be crossing the aisle to us. |
|
But they're not. They're talking shit and playing obstructionist games already. What does that tell you?

5. That we the people will continue.. |
|
to cede our power to the very few, and expect them to magically do what we expect with absolutely no input, and no responsibility of our own. That there is no such thing as 'we the people'. That the division in our government is a reflection of we the people. That the only way to pressure government to do the right thing is to gather support from a large chunk of the populace to effectively have a voice. That there is absolutely no willingness on the part of we the people to do that.
