bu$h* E-Mails May Be Secret a Bit Longer......glitches my ass

dr. death at the wheel

The required transfer in four weeks of all of the Bush White House's electronic mail messages and documents to the National Archives has been imperiled by a combination of technical glitches, lawsuits and lagging computer forensic work, according to government officials, historians and lawyers.

Federal law requires outgoing White House officials to provide the Archives copies of their records, a cache estimated at more than 300 million messages and 25,000 boxes of documents depicting some of the most sensitive policymaking of the past eight years.

But archivists are uncertain whether the transfer will include all the electronic messages sent and received by the officials, because the administration began trying only in recent months to recover from White House backup tapes hundreds of thousands of e-mails that were reported missing from readily accessible files in 2005.

The risks that the transfer may be incomplete are also pointed up by a continuing legal battle between a coalition of historians and nonprofit groups over access to Vice President Cheney's records. The coalition is contesting the administration's assertion in federal court this month that he "alone may determine what constitutes vice presidential records or personal records" and "how his records will be created, maintained, managed, and disposed," without outside challenge or judicial review.

6. I'm confident in the change we elected Obama to lead us in
and with this new found freedom we will find in this change will come investigations of all this illegality of this criminal crew and once the investigations starts there will be so many come forward with their stories that it will be next to impossible to charge them and with whats gone on there is no way that a jury would find these traitors innocent. no chance of that at all so that is why the bushco crooks have to do something now to stop this change thing from happening. What I have no idea, but I would bet that there is some old boys doing some real serious trying to figure out a way out of this right now. Legally there is none so their only option is what they do so well anyway, yes it will be something more illegal. I'm confident that bushco, bush/cheney for sure, will be hauled before a court before the end to this. My hope is that the dick lives long enough for that to happen. bush himself might be able to use insanity for his defense but that won't be true for the dark one.

My faith that the right thing will prevail is because I think I'm seeing an wakening of the people like I've never seen before. An awakening to the basis of our countries being, the rule of law and how close we've come to losing that.

5. Don't worry abut the emails, just hand over the servers - someone will find a way
to get the information off of them.
