5. Thanks. I should have known with Mickey Rourke and 'The Wrestler'.
I heard he was unbelievable in this.

15. I recently read a review...
Of that movie. I think it was in Esquire, but I wouldn't swear to it. The writer apologized profusely for calling Mickey Rourke what everyone has long thought he was -- a burnt-out hack, and went on to recommend an Oscar for Mickey. I hate professional wrestling, but maybe I should check this movie out.

11. Jay got it, I think
But it took more tries than usual. That's one weird Christmas tradition, but I like it. :)

13. I can't believe Jay told the Lone Ranger story again
I knew him then. The 1st time I heard him tell it, I was kind of surprised he remembered those times. lol He was a DJ for WAYS radio in Charlotte, N.C. He was a jerk and an asshole, but boy howdy did he have good herb.

14. Dave likes the story

And it has become part of a very unlikely Christmas tradition. And it is a pretty funny story.

I've never met Jay Thomas, but I always thought he was probably a lot like the character he played on Murphy Brown, and judging from your description I was right all along. :)

Merry Christmas!

12. oh, and...
The pizza is not the goal... the goal is the meatball!

There are no penalties for knocking off the pizza though. :)
