Why Rhode Island?
The recent census revealed that only Michigan and Rhode Island lost populations in the past year.

I understand Michigan, with the problems of the auto makers, but why Rhode Island?

4. Sad to lose people in a blue state
wonder why unemployment is higher there, whether it had a specific industry that went down.

6. Little known fact.
Rhode Island, in fact, does not exist. It was a practical joke, ironic in tone, described as the state where religious freedom was tolerated. Since we know that's never existed at any time in history, we know the irony of the description. Having served a useful function by adding a state and some locals to the revolution, the initial irony was formally ratified. As time went on, few, if any, were available to dispute the status of the breadbox state. As proof of this, see if anyone knows where the true state documents of incorporation are found. Not those fake ones passed off as real but the true documents. I rest my case.

You can't leave what isn't there.
