1. I can't wait to see Michelle's gown.
I'm sure she will look stunning, as always. Barack's kind of pretty too.

4. ITA
The Obama's will show the world "family values" more than any Republican family in Washington has for eons.

3. What is amazing is the dress she wore on 4th of July (white w black plaid)
was on sale on GAP for $ 38 and yet she adds more class to it than any expensive outfit Palin donned. She will literally be the belle of the ball!

5. She dresses like "normal" people
except she makes "normal" clothes look fabulous. Yeah, she's had a couple of ugly outfits, but at least she doesn't wear the draperies.

6. Michelle Obama could make the draperies look fabulous
Except she's got enough class not to make clothes out of the curtains, unlike a certain First Lady who we're all too familiar with...

7. Seems like 9 to many to me.
I would rather see Obama jump into the White House and start fixing some of the shit, with today's economy attending 10 balls kind of rubs us poor people the wrong way.

8. I'm old
Old enough to remember what the White House was like when the Kennedys occupied it. Man, it seemed like they threw the most gorgeous parties, had the most interesting mix of people there - it was the first time I ever heard of Pablo Casals, when he played for them in the White House - and the clothes! Everyone was so dressed up and beautiful and it was wonderful.

These hicks who've been squatting at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., NW for the past eight years don't have an ounce of grace or style, never did anything that even remotely resembled the kind of necessary socializing with people from all over, and, of course, Fuckface needed to be in bed by 9 pm so that he could get up nice and early to ride his bike. Or something.

I am anticipating the coverage of the Obamas, the whole family, is going to be delicious. Michelle is the star of the group, and her sense of self, her sense of style, her very distinct way of handling herself will be the template upon which a generation of young women - black, white, yellow, pink, gray, plaid - will fashion themselves. They could not have a better role model.

Of course, there is Pickles.

Pass the Xanax.

9. That's Great!
People forget that the President and his wife will be in and out of 10 different rooms maybe dancing half a song in each of them. It's amazing to hear some complain when these people deserve to have the same inauguration as any other president.

He's walking into a shit hole of issues and it's amazing that these same assholes didn't have a problem with that shrub Bush's inauguration and even the second one!

Part on Obama Family! I voted for you and I'm glad about it! And I'll be dancing in front of my tv with sweats on enjoying every minute of it!

off rant!

**I shouldn't have googled the ball information and read the dumb ass editorials that allowed stupid people to comment while drinking and then post here! LOL
