4 million Iraqi refugees?
That is the 'victory' that George W Bush and the Legacy entourage have been talking about for the last few weeks. The capital city of Baghdad, which used to be 75% Sunni and 25% Shia is now 75% Shia and 25% Sunni. Millions of people have been pushed from their homes and their homes have been destroyed. Many of them have escaped to neighboring countries, such as Lebanon and Syria.

Yet, Mrs. Bush and other supporters of this Administration are talking about how they have "liberated" 50 million people? Are they for real? With the ethnic cleansing almost complete and the "security forces" now in place, George W Bush is claiming victory in Iraq. Never mind that we still have 140,000 troops still in Iraq and no idea of how to get them out without all hell breaking loose. Please spare me the spin.

1. The bush regime love whoppers!
And we gave him a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn't let them in. And, therefore, after a reasonable request, we decided to remove him from power ..."

But I remember it differently. I remember the Bush Administration warning the inspectors to get out for their own security. They refused to allow inspections to continue. After all, they had the invasion forces built up to what they thought was an adequate force to invade and there was not time for inspections and such. That was when we lost the support of our long-time allies, Germany and France. Also, that was when we started hating everything "French" so we started eating "freedom" fries.

6. They also couldn't take the chance that the inspectors would complete
their inspections and find no WMDs.
