The rumors were that he was "suspending" the campaign. So much for rumors! She's an admirable woman.

6. They are good together. She is very poised. |

There are times that I don't care for John when he talks and other times he is much better.
But then again Bill Clinton was awful when he went on and on in his first speech at a Democratic Convention I think in 88.

4. when breast cancer metastatizes |
|
it's not a death sentence, but it is a life sentence. That's how my oncologist sums it up. You may live for years, but you will be treating it the whole time with chemo, etc. I think the median survival after a reoccurrance is only 18 months, though.
I'm a two-year breast cancer survivor and all of us know that it can reoccur any time. Knowing that really changes how you look at your life. I'm wishing Mrs. Edwards and family strength, courage, and serenity to fight this. -- Wanet

7. E & J seemed optimistic |

They said the same thing you did about treating it with chemo for the rest of her life, but I'm guessing that it was caught early and not so widespread. So I would guess Elizabeth would be on the long end of that median time.
Courage and strength to Elizabeth.

9. It's not really rib cancer. |
|
It's breast cancer that has spread to a rib. She broke a different rib on the other side (this was apparently unrelated to the cancer) and when they x-rayed her chest for it they saw the cancer. She says that she's fortunate that she broke that rib.
