Now I get it...I'm sorry it took so long:

Dopey Willie Geist announced that he was going to report on Joe the Plumber's new job and Mika exclaimed, "What? Who?"

As if she hadn't seen the news for the last 48 hours, right? You could be a recluse without radio and TV and know this was going on.

So she's got the role of 'dumb blonde' and I suppose that in certain regions of the country, it plays well. This is what she does and it simulates one of those old radio shows like Burns and Allen wherein Gracie played dumb, but actually was extraordinarily shrewd an a brilliant comedienne. I find it demeaning and depressing and I'm male...I can only imagine what women must think when they see stuff like this.

Aline Saarinen must be spinning in her grave.

1. Mika is having one hell of a "Mid-Life Crisis" ... almost all the stereotypes apply.

It's sad to watch someone as intelligent as Mika acting like a spoiled little girl princess. I stopped watching Mourning Ho-Jo over a month ago but when I reflect on how she'd constantly gaze longingly into the camera it still makes me cringe. :puke:

4. She's the "gal sidekick".."eye candy" for the "sorta informed"

"Gal Friday"..

The sad part? She has MORE "news" experience than everyone there, except for some of the newspaper people they have on.

She's paid A LOT of money and probably has great benefits...just to "ooh and aaah" at the "appropriate" moments, and to sit there with a quizzical look on her face when she has a " girlie moment" while the boyzzzzz straighten her out:puke:

5. she does it EVERY time

they do News You Can't Use. I guess they may just be laughing at the fact that they have to rotate that same segment several times in the show, but Christ, she does the same Shtick the FIRST time it comes up and it's annoying. "What? Ummm,....yeah. Who? Whoa. Whoa." That's all she ever contributes. And when people start a dispute, she does the same thing. "What??? Um...moving on. Um....okkkkkk." I have been told that her role on the show is supposed to be "mother" who is controlling the frat boys or some bullshit, but she makes such a god damn show of it that I refuse to believe it is an attempt to "control the set" or nonsense like that.

6. Her constant mugging at the camera looks like the Church Lady.

She has the most affected behavior on television. Those ridiculous looks and smirks she makes at the camera when she's not talking and others are is absurd. She has the mind and emotions of a child.
