Scooter Libby allies: Bush must pardon Libby: "This guy took a bullet for the White House"

<snip>

The question now, for Libby and his supporters, is whether George W. Bush will follow his father’s example. Even though words are few, emotions are quite intense. “If it doesn’t happen, I’m afraid the president’s legacy on this will be one that is pretty ugly,” says the first Libby ally quoted in this story. “This guy took a bullet for the White House, in an absolutely outrageous, unfounded prosecution by an out-of-control prosecutor. For the president not to recognize that fact, and not to pardon Scooter Libby at this point, would be viewed as disgraceful.”

3. A few days left.
It's hard for me to believe that there will be no more pardons.

4. He refused to answer Larry King, last night, when he asked about pardons.
Larry got "the look" when he pursued it.

Scooter may have been doing what he was told, but he is also intelligent enough to know he shouldn't have done so. I hope he doesn't pardon Scooter and Scooter then turns on Cheney and Bush.

We all know where the true blame belongs. Just have to make it official.

5. Took a bullet for Bush*
He lied to protect Bush* from prosecution? Is that what is meant by taking a bullet? How is Libby's Lying in any way excusable? People like this need to be called on their BS...It should NEVER be allowed to stand..
