My "Bush-Be-Gone" Wager! One of the Bush twins will become a Dem, and enter politics |
|
Seriously!
I bet $100 that one of the Bush twins (my bets are on Barbara) will get into politics in the next 20 years, and run as a Democrat. A left-of-center one at that.
Who wants to take me up on it?

I can see it as sort of a rebellion against her parents; but then again I'm not impressed with their intelligence or self awareness so who knows.

3. Well, I've never known anyone under 30 who could impress me with their intelligence |
|
Well, scratch that, I knew one but he was a Child Prodigy who worked on the Chaos Theory in Computing Project at UC Berkeley.
But just what I've read about her
And besides, go an rewatch the Bush Twins' appearance at the 06 RNC. I bigger "fuck you dad" on stage could not be given.

4. She seems to be the rebel |

and if she manages to cope with alcohol, there might be some hope there.
She has already failed to marry profitably and within the party royalty.
An article out yesterday mentions she is surrounded by gay and progressive friends.
Finally, she was the one who was smart enough to get a legacy admission to Yale.
Yep, I'd say there's some hope there.

6. Read this month's Vanity Fair. A gay man friend of hers was invited to |
|
have dinner with the "family" many times. He's quizzically and negatively vocal about *W* and his behavior at the table, in the movie room, in general and all is happening around the time of 9/11/01. He never says if *W* knew he was gay - but it does not look that way. Barbara is interesting.

we might - might - be done with this miserable family.
Unfortunately, I am frequently wrong about many things.

10. The next most likely Bush is Jeb's son (forget his name). |
|
As a tall, dark and handsome Latino, Jeb's son has a shot.

The Bush Crime Family taking over the DLC. Not that they don't already agree 98% of the time as it is.
